According to Duty Free News International (DFNI), a Harry Potter shop is set to open at terminal five of London Heathrow airport next month.

DFNI reports that the shop will be 600sq m in size and it will sell a range of Harry Potter/Wizarding World items like collectibles, accessories, and gifts, among other things. Shoppers will also be able to purchase souvenirs from Platform 9¾ as well as Harry Potter and The Cursed Child merchandise. The store will also feature newly released items from the upcoming Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.

Jonathan Coen, the Heathrow airport commercial director states:

“We are really pleased to welcome the new Harry Potter Shop to Terminal 5. Harry Potter is loved across the globe and what better place to enjoy gift and souvenirs from the Wizarding World before our passengers fly to the other side of the world. We hope our customers enjoy everything the new store has to offer as they take a little magic with them.”

Heathrow’s terminal 5 is used by more than 16 million passengers yearly, so the shop will most likely attract a lot of attention, especially with the release of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them getting closer. According to Heathrow Airport’s press release, the shop is produced by Jonathan Sands, the chief executive of the Harry Potter shop at Kings Cross Station and in partnership with Warner Bros. Consumer Products.

Retail Gazette reports that the store will officially open on November 18 and according to Heathrow Airport’s press release it will be open daily from 05.30am to 10.00pm.
