Eddie Redmayne Waves Wands and Tells his Patronus to Stephen Colbert

While in New York for the World Premiere of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, Eddie Redmayne stopped by The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Redmayne joked about not revealing Fantastic Beasts secrets on the show, lest he was taken out by hidden Warner Bros. snipers.

During the show, Eddie revealed that he was made to take the Pottermore Patronus test on set…more than once. His first time he received a Basset Hound as his patronus. Eddie was asked to take the test again, perhaps hoping that–given the intense algorithms behind the quizzes make getting the same patronus twice nearly impossible–Newt Scamander would be granted a more rugged, hearty patronus. Eddie defied all realities and got a Basset Hound once again.
