With the release of Fantastic Beasts in theaters, the Fantastic Beasts extension pack is making its way to LEGO Dimensions! Earlier this fall, Harry Potter was added to the world of LEGO Dimensions. Leaky had a chance to interview the Head of Design (Arthur Parsons) behind the new extension packs last month, who promised a lot of richness, excitement, and surprises for Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts fans in the new story packs.

“6 new worlds are coming, including a new Harry Potter expansion pack on 27 September, to be closely followed by Fantastic Beasts.”

Lego Dimensions is an expandable game series in which a variety of characters from different universes interact with one another. This means Batman and Harry Potter can team up and take on the Wicked Witch of the West. The Harry Potter Team Pack (a pack consisting of two character, Harry and Voldemort, and two vehicles, the Hogwarts Express and the Weasley Car) was just released at the end of September. The Fantastic Beasts extension pack (a story pack consisting of 6 new Fantastic Beasts levels, Newt Scamander, a Niffler, and MACUSA) will be making its way to the world of LEGO Dimensions November 18, TODAY, when the films are released.

The physical gaming pieces of the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts LEGO Dimensions extension packs include Newt, Tina, a Niffler, a Swooping Evil, a MACUSA set, as well as Harry, Voldemort, a Ford Anglia and a Hogwarts Express steam engine. Though she is not pictured, Luna Lovegood will also be joining the LEGO Dimensions world!
