Leaky Visits HOGWARTS IN THE SNOW – Exclusive Event At Warner Bros Studio Tour!

This Thursday, Leaky was invited to a very special event at the Warner Bros Studio Tour, London! ‘Hogwarts In The Snow’  – a mesmerising display of the iconic Harry Potter sets and props, only this time everything had been given a magical makeover resulting in the studios being perfectly set for the festive season!

On entering the Great Hall, gold garlands and beautifully decorated christmas trees line the walls, a complete seasonal feast is displayed in front of the roaring fires, and even flaming christmas puddings mark the centre piece of each table!

Further along the tour, the Gryffindor common room exudes Christmas with garlands, presents and hand made christmas cards!

Possibly one the most exciting parts of the tour – Diagon Alley, where you can see Harry’s actual footprints moving through the snow outside the wizarding goods store. And just outside from this incredible set, white snow flakes fall through the air as you experience walking on to the Wooden Bridge, a significant feature of Hogwarts Castle!

After returning inside with a glass of Butterbeer, the final spectacle is revealed. It is the Hogwarts Castle model, which has been completely transformed by Model Effects! The entirety of the Castle is covered with a blanket of filmmaking snow, making it appear more magical than ever. You can even learn about how the snow is made, touch different samples, and discover the variations of snow used to create either a crunching sound, or perhaps a glistening dust effect!
