Yesterday, Matthew Lewis visited a number of schools in leads, to talk to Primary and Secondary school pupils about the film industry.

Matt led a Q&A event hosted by Into Film, an organisation which aims to educate children about the film industry, and enables children to learn through film. He spoke to 600 pupils at Pudsey Grangefield School, and also visited Corpus Christi, Crawshaw Academy and Greenside Primary School in Leeds.

Pete Sammons – Director of Studies at Pudsey Grangefield School – reportedly said:

The media industry is notoriously difficult to get into and a number of our students have strong aspirations to pursue careers in the sector. Having Into Film organise events such as the Matthew Lewis industry visit, illuminates and brings the film industry and what it involves to life for students. We are really excited that Matthew is visiting our students as it is not every day you get a leading star from one of the biggest ever film franchise’s to visit the school. Matthew was successful from a young age and I believe that he therefore is able to give a unique insight in not only the film industry but also what it takes to achieve your goals.
