First Look at Emma Thompson’s Two Upcoming Films!

Emma Thompson, perfectly aloof and endearing as Professor Trelawney in the Harry Potter series, has two exciting new films opening soon!

The first is the highly-anticipated, live-action remake of Beauty and the Beast by Disney. Inside the Magic (ITM) provides a first look of Thompson as the lovable Mrs. Potts, as seen on the display at AMC Disney Springs 24.

Beauty and the Beast premieres in U.S. theaters March 17, 2017. But if you can’t wait that long for a glimpse of Thompson on the silver screen, she’ll take another starring turn in the film Alone in Berlin, debuting its American release Jan. 13, 2017. UK fans will have to wait slightly longer but can still get their fix of the talented actress in theaters Mar. 10.

The film is a period piece set during the WWII era. According to HUH, it features Thompson as one half of a grieving couple, determined to avenge the death of their son by subverting the Nazi regime and bolstering the resistance. Brendan Gleeson (Mad-Eye Moody) also stars!
