Dan Fogler’s Favorite Fantastic Beast

There were so many amazing, beautiful, and interesting beasts that we had the pleasure of being introduced to in the Fantastic Beasts movie. Some may think it near impossible to pick a favorite, there are too many to choose from! But Dan Fogler, who portrayed our beloved Jacob Kowalski, has finally decided which beast he loves best.

Following the premiere of the movie, Jacob Kowalski rapidly became a fan favorite. Fans resonated with his wonderment after being introduced to the wizarding world, and also to the romantic subplot between him and Queenie.

Fogler opened up to The Nerdist recently, about his love for a certain magical creature. Pickett, the bowtruckle, has captured Dan’s heart. Pickett has also stolen the fans hearts, loving the interactions between Newt and the little, tree-like creature that refused to leave his side.

“I think the one that would probably be the easiest to care for is Pickett, the Bowtruckle.” Dan told The Nerdist.

“I’d want to take the Niffler, but he’d just get in too much trouble, you know? He’d be hard to control. But Pickett you could keep in your pocket. If you ever got into trouble he can get you out of it.”
