Orlando Informer to Host Event at Wizarding World

Orlando Informer is hosting an exclusive ticketed event at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Universal Orlando on Friday, March 10th. The after-hours event is open only to those who purchase tickets and promises little to no lines or crowds, access to most of the main attractions, and unlimited Butterbeer and ice cream.

Both the Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure sides of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter have been rented out by the Orlando Informer from 9:30 pm to 12:30 am for one of their most exciting meet-ups yet (although we may be biased). This means that attendees will be able to visit both Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade as well as ride the Hogwarts Express.

According to the Orlando Informer the goal of the event is,

“bringing fans of theme parks and Central Florida together for unique experiences.”

All of the main rides will be running, so guests can enjoy Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts, Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, Dragon Challenge, and Flight of the Hippogriff. The Ollivanders wand shop experience will also be open for guests to witness a wand choose the wizard.

They are only selling a limited number of tickets in order to keep ride lines to a minimum and to create a unique, crowd-free event that will be unlike the average amusement park experience.  Dinner, unlimited non-alcoholic beverages, including the fan favorite, Butterbeer, and unlimited ice cream from Florean Fortescue’s Ice-Cream Parlor are all included with the purchase of an event ticket.

Tickets for the event cost $144, however, if you purchase in the next 2 days you can get tickets at a discounted price of $134. There is also a special group hotel rate offered at the Loews Sapphire Falls Resort for only $169 a night.
