New MinaLima-designed “Fantastic Beasts” book (with foreword by Jude Law) available for pre-order

MinaLima, graphic designers for the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts films, have created a companion book for the upcoming Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald film.  Titled The Archive of Magic: Explore the Film Wizardry of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, this striking volume is written by Signe Bergstrom and designed by MinaLima.  It is officially licensed by Warner Bros, and will contain a foreword by Fantastic Beasts star Jude Law, who will portray young Albus Dumbledore!

Inside you will find an up-close look at both the human characters and magical beasts we were introduced to in the first Fantastic Beasts film, as well as some characters familiar to us from the Harry Potter series who will appear in the next film, such as Albus Dumbledore and Nicholas Flamel.  There are behind-the-scenes photos from the filmmaking, stories from the cast and crew, as well as some removable facsimiles of props.

The book will be released on the same day as the film, November 16, 2018, but you can pre-order it now from the MinaLima online store.  The hardcover book contains 160 pages.  The cost is £30.  Each book is signed by both Miraphona and Eduardo, the creative duo behind MinaLima.  You can also pre-order it from a variety of U.S. online stores, including Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and directly from publisher HarperCollins, for $50, but these copies will not be signed.

We’re also promised some neat surprises in the book, so I’d pre-order it today.
