Four time Olivier award-winning Imelda will be joined by her husband, actor Jim Carter (Downton Abbey), who will host the event, along with West End Hamilton’s leading actor Jamael Westman. The event will take place on July 1st at the Streatham Space Project’s 120-seat auditorium, allowing guests to get an exclusive look into the careers of three of the most esteemed names on stage and screen:
“There will be a glass of prosecco on arrival, Jim will interview Jamael & Imelda in a seated auditorium session, then an auction of momentos from Jim & Imelda’s careers and a raffle with special prizes – followed by a private drinks reception with Jim & Imelda.”

Staunton and Carter have been supporting the project at the venue since its opening in April 2018. The venue hosts theater, music and comedy gigs, and aims to support local talent and encourage community growth:
“Your support means we are able to supply a number of free tickets to ALT, who provide free actor training and showcases to people from low income backgrounds, as well as to local schools – to inspire the actors of the future. Jamael trained with ALT before going to RADA, so you may well be rubbing shoulders with the stars of tomorrow – as well as the stars of today.”
More generous guests purchasing £175 tickets will be offered the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to join the special guests at a private drinks reception following the event.
