It’s time for another look inside the latest Loot Crate box, and this month’s loot brought with it various ways to show off Hogwarts house pride, because there are never too many ways to do this. Personally, I identify with Luna’s level of dedication in fashioning a lion hat just to support Gryffindor!

th

I received a Gryffindor set, and my items were neatly arranged inside a Hogwarts themed box, complete with a sorting hat label:

When the package arrived, I also noted that Loot  Crate have moved to using the new official ‘Wizarding World’ logo, as oppose to the J.K. Rowling’s Wizarding World’ logo on old boxes – it’s super official and I like to think that the person giving me my post was intrigued (I secretly hope to get a Potter fan handing this to me one day – I’d totally share one of the items inside with them!):

First out of the box was a bold Gryffindor Loot Crate exclusive t-shirt, which fits well, and definitely holds its color and print just fine after a few washes. I love how fiery the lion mascot looks!

Next out was a Loot Crate exclusive necklace / pocket watch, which is absolutely the best thing I’ve received in a box. It was easy to adjust, fully functional and just an all-round brilliant way to show some house pride. I was surprised at how detailed this piece is:

These Hogwarts Crest and Hogwarts House Crest socks are now the comfiest socks I own. They’re pretty long, but otherwise I can’t fault them. I own a fair few of Primark’s collection and they’re awesome too, but it has to be said, these are thicker so they’re likely to last longer, and far comfier!

Want to show your Hogwarts house on your favorite jacket? Loot Crate’s exclusive Hogwarts House Patch provides the perfect way to do so – I love the grey in this Gryffindor logo, and the added detail of the snitch and the Quidditch hoops. IRL Quidditch players are going to love this one!

Last out was another Loot Crate exclusive enamel pin, continuing LootCrate’s Horcrux pin series with Voldemort’s eighth (accidental) horcrux, symbolized by Harry’s lightning scar.

Overall, some beautifully detailed items in this loot, which definitely gives Potter fans a few more ways to show off their Hogwarts house. Thanks to Loot Crate for sending a box to review!

These boxes cost $32.99+, with each crate’s retail value being over $65. Each box comes with 5-7 items, delivered every 2 months to 27 countries, including US, UK, Canada and Australia. The next theme will be ‘Magical Creatures’, and you have until July 7th at 9pm PT to order, if you’re not already subscribed. Each bi-monthly box is themed differently, so if this month’s theme doesn’t suit you, check back next time!
