Just in time for the holidays, Christmas in the Wizarding World has returned for a second year to Utah and a Harry Potter favorite will be there to ring in the season. A Harry Potter-themed shopping and interactive experience, presented by Warner Bros Consumer Products, opened at The Shops at South Town in Sandy, Utah earlier this month and the actor who played George Weasley, Oliver Phelps, will be on hand November 7 for a live Q & A session.

According to The Shops website, this is what fans can expect to see at this replica of a snowy Hogsmeade Village,

  • One-of-a-kind merchandise from the highly anticipated film Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, which hits theaters November 16, 2018
  • A wide selection of Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them™ merchandise including: specially designed holiday ornaments, Bertie Bott’s Every-Flavour Beans and Chocolate Frogs, fan-favorite plush owls and nifflers, wands, jewelry and branded collectibles

  • Shelves filled with hundreds of precariously stacked Ollivanders™ wand boxes

  • Photo opportunity, featuring a selection of background options from the Wizarding World
  • Quaffle Toss activity where guests can practice their Quidditch skills

  • Animated windows throughout the retail experience that will bring the iconic shops from the films to life

The discussion with Oliver Phelps, who definitely knows a thing or two about Hogsmeade, takes place at 7pm on November 7. The venue’s website announced that several lucky Muggles will get a chance to meet Phelps, so get your holiday dose of Felix Felicis ready!

Warner Bros Christmas in the Wizarding World experience, which we hope is a prototype for other locations in the future, is open at The Shops at South Town in Sandy, Utah Monday-Saturday 11a-8p and noon-6p on Sunday through January 21.
