Barnes & Noble to host “Explore the Magic” event nationwide on November 17

On Saturday, November 17, at 2pm, Barnes & Noble stores across the U.S. will host Wizarding World-themed activities, cosplay, offers, and giveaways to celebrate the release of Warner Bros. Pictures’ film Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, The Original Screenplay by J.K. Rowling, published by Scholastic, along with additional official movie tie-in books.

Activities will include:

• Creating a take-home Hedwig pop-up to celebrate Insight Editions newly released Harry Potter: A Pop-Up Guide to Hogwarts by Matthew Reinhart

• A LEGO Fantastic Beasts group building challenge

• A photo opportunity in front of an exciting movie backdrop

• Wizarding World-themed trivia and coloring activities

• Dress-up and cosplay with 10% off wearables the day of the event

• Wizarding World giveaways, including a Fantastic Beasts movie poster and mini book kits brought to you by Running Press, while supplies last.

There will also be, just at this event, a limited supply of B&N’s exclusive Harry Potter LEGO Mini Figure Black Friday offer.

Throughout the month of November, B&N will have in-store only exclusives and promotions on Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts-related items, such as:

• A $10 reward card with the purchase of Scholastic’s Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald screenplay (11/16 to 11/21)

• Free set of four exclusive LEGO Harry Potter Minifigures with any LEGO purchase of $75 or more, while supplies last (11/17, and then again on Black Friday)
