As April turned to May, Leaky reported the exciting news that LEGO planned to release three new Harry Potter-themed LEGO sets this summer. We covered all the details on the Hogwarts Clock Tower, Hagrid’s Hut–Buckbeak’s Rescue and Expecto Patronum sets.

Now the Brother’s Brick has announced that these sets will be available June 1, along with two additional new sets. (Then read on for details on sets debuting August 1 and Sept. 1!)

The Knight Bus

The Knight Bus is the magical transport for stranded witches and wizards. It was featured in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, turning up in time to help a beleaguered Harry, who was too young to travel by other magical means. The triple-decker purple bus is delightfully accurate to the book description and film adaptation, complete with a shrunken head, sliding bed and swinging chandelier.

The set also includes Harry’s trunk, which contains his wand, a letter, a chocolate bar and a potion bottle. A hinged side panel provides access to the interior of the bus, and the roof removes for play on the upper deck. Special mini-figures included are: Harry Potter, Stan Shunpike and Ernie Prang.

Hungarian Horntail Triwizard Challenge

LEGO-Harry-Potter-75946-Hungarian-Horntail-Triwizard-Challenge-Box-Front-e1556526825773-640x451

This set allows fans to reenact one of the most thrilling scenes from Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire–the first challenge in the Triwizard Tournament. Harry competes against the other Triwizard champions to capture the golden egg. But first, he must face a dragon, and he’s drawn the most dangerous of them all!

The set features the champions tent, complete with a bed, two cups, a shelf and a potion bottle. Once Harry leaves the tent, he’ll face the Hungarian Horntail. The tail and limbs move, and the flames bursting from its mouth make it an imposing creature! Though it’s chained to a rock crag, don’t underestimate it. Harry will, of course, have both his broom and wand to aid him in stealing the golden egg from his foe. Other figures include: Cedric Diggory, Fleur Delacour and Viktor Krum.

LEGO also announced that two new sets will debut August 1, giving fans plenty of time to acquire and complete the first five before adding to their collection late in the summer! Check out the additions featured by Brother’s Brick below.

Beauxbatons’ Carriage: Arrival at Hogwarts

The Triwizard Tournament provided an excellent opportunity for international magical cooperation, and the Beauxbatons’ Academy representatives, hailing from France, promptly arrived on the Hogwarts grounds after traveling via an enchanting flying carriage. Pulled by two flying horses, the carriage is a delicate blue with detailed gold scrollwork. The door opens, allowing access to the interior. It can also be rebuilt as two-floor living area, complete with two banquettes, a table, two floor beds and a shelf with drawers.

The horses have moveable wings, heads and legs. The set also includes a chest, four lanterns, a letter, four tea cups and a tea pot, a bottle to feed the horses and two paddles to help Hagrid direct the carriage to a safe landing. Featured mini-figures are: Hagrid, dressed in Yule Ball attire, Madame Maxime, Fleur Delacour and Gabrielle Delacour.

The Rise of Voldemort

This set depicts one of the most devastating moments of the series, Harry’s emergence by portkey in the Little Hangleton cemetery of Tom Riddle Sr., where Voldemort and Peter Pettigrew have plotted the Dark Lord’s return. Harry and Voldemort duel over the uneven landscape beneath the ominous tombstone of his father.

In addition to the tombstone, there is a cauldron for brewing the potion. Voldemort then rises from a hidden compartment with the pull of a brick lever. Also included are a bone, dagger and, of course, the Triwizard Cup. The mini-figures included are: a hooded Death Eater, a skeletal Voldemort, Peter Pettigrew and Harry Potter, dressed in competition garb and Gryffindor colors.

Finally, LEGO will unveil a special seasonal set, available Sept. 1!

Harry Potter Advent Calendar

The Christmas-themed Harry Potter set takes fans young and old to the Great Hall, decorated for the holiday season. Every day for 24 days, open a door to reveal a new LEGO toy for building and play. These include favorite characters, objects and accessories which will eventually complete a magical festive scene.

The set includes a micro Hogwarts Express train, a fireplace, décor, dining tables, food for the feast, a candle to light the meal, House-themed pieces and more. The seven mini-figures joining the celebration are: Harry Potter, wearing Mrs. Weasley’s personalized sweater, Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley, Professor McGonagall, Albus Dumbledore, Professor Flitwick and the Hogwarts Architect–and Hedwig!

These LEGO recreations are worthy of any LEGO enthusiast and Harry Potter collector. It looks to be a magical summer indeed!
