Domhnall Gleeson Discusses Harry Potter; Working with Father on New Film

The Belfast Telegraph has an article online featuring actor Domhnall Gleeson, who is set to portray the character of Bill Weasley in the upcoming “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows” films, discussing the role of his father in an independent feature produced by the young filmmaker. His father, Brendan Gleeson, has appeared in the Harry Potter films as Mad-Eye Moody, and was also cast in this family feature called “Noreen.” In the article Domhnall Gleeson briefly discusses working on the Harry Potter films, saying, “Being an actor in Harry Potter is a different experience. It’s fantastic at the same time but there are so many extras and it’s just so huge, you’re not in control of anything.” The report goes on to note the full family affair of the film, with his younger brother Brian is also part of the production. “Noreen” is slated to premiere in Tullamore Omniplex in the spring.
