In what will be his first UK production since The Cripple of Inishmaan in 2013, Daniel Radcliffe is set to return to the West End in Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead. Dan will play the titular character Rosencrantz opposite Joshua McGuire as Guildenstern in the 50th anniversary celebratory production of the absurdist classic.

In the past, Dan has expressed interest in being part of this play, telling The New York Times:

“I love Tom Stoppard, so I’ve always had kind of a thing – if we found the right person to do Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead, I would love to do that. But so would every actor, Dan, so shut up.”

Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead is set to open at the Old Vic Theatre on March 7, 2017 and will be directed by Tony Award-winner David Leveaux.
