SciFi Now‘s November edition looks eerily like an issue of The Daily Prophet. The Fantastic Beasts themed edition comes just in time for the movie’s release on the 18th!

Katherine Waterston, Alison Sudol and Colin Farrell spoke to SciFi Now about the wizarding world, and their memories of J.K. Rowling’s series. Alison Sudol echoes our heartbreak at the Potter series ending:

“Even though I was in my 20s, I was sitting in my bunk at night, and everybody else was sort of hanging out and doing the band thing, and couldn’t have been happier, and was so sad when it finished. All of us thought that was the end of this world.

“And then now, we get this gift of having another story from [Rowling’s] mind. But it’s new, so it’s not trying to recreate what we already loved, because you can’t duplicate that. That was perfect in itself. And so this is the same sensibility, but it’s America and it’s in the Twenties, and it’s new characters and it’s a different storyline. It’s kind of everything, as a fan, I would have hoped for, and then I’m about to live in it as well, which is just crazy.”

Collin Farrell said he’d always wanted to be a part of something so magical, ‘but also pays due respect to human emotions and relationships between characters’, and getting the call from David Yates to get involved with the film was a dream come true! He admits to getting a little emotional at the trailer, and we don’t blame him!
