In our latest round-up article, we catch up with some of the Potter castas well as a throwback to Harry Potter via Dan Radcliffe, and Fantastic Beasts’ Katherine Waterston and Eddie Redmayne talking about who they’d most like to crossover into their side of the wizarding world from Potter.

First up, Dan Radcliffe seems utterly bemused by Eddie’s choice in wand for Newt.

“What’s this silvery bit here?” He remarks, and Eddie is utterly heartbroken, explaining “It’s Mother-of-Pearl!”

In the second Potter throwback, Katherine and Eddie are asked who they’d most like to crossover into the Beasts films:

Tom Felton is still working on The Flash, and the show’s leading man Grant Gustin recently posted a photo with Felton on set:

There have been concerns with regards to Tom Felton’s character in The Flash being a mere reciprocation of Draco Malfoy, leaving some feeling Tom had been typecast as a ‘bad guy’. However, it appears that Julian may be a more complex character than first assumed by critics! We look forward to seeing his character develop on the show, and think Tom adds an interesting dynamic to The Flash.

[*WARNING: HOW TO GET AWAY WITH MURDER SPOILERS*] Alfred Enoch’s time on HTGAWM has come to an end, and he recounts his time on the show, as well as discussing the last episode on Jimmy Kimmel Live:

Bonnie Wright and Evanna Lynch were reunited at the New York premiere of Fantastic Beasts where we managed to speak to them about their excitement for the film and their recent projects. The evening also led to adorable reunion photos:

Bonnie has been advocating action against the Dakota Access Pipeline:

Whilst Evanna attended the 10th Anniversary Animal Equality Gala in LA:

It was amazing to attend the @animalequality gala in LA last night celebrating 10 years of saving animals and to have the pleasure of meeting these badass vegan activists, among others. I am still not used to being in a room full of people who care as much (and more) about animals as I do and who are dedicating their lives to fixing mankind’s relationship to animals every day, and I always come away buzzing with ideas and passion (and yes, a little drunk…). My 2017 goal is to start a vegan podcast and talk to all these rad people about their lives fighting for animal rights. I’m so lucky to have access to expert, passionate animal advocates and I am itching to share what I learn from the people who spearhead this movement. Soooo yeah that’s my evil plan for 2017. Anyone got any tips on podcasting? ? #AnimalEquality #vegan #evilplanz A photo posted by Evanna Lynch (@msevylynch) on

The Cursed Child cast were also in attendance at the Fantastic Beasts premiere in London on the 18th (we got a wave from Paul Thornley in our Facebook livestream!):

Sam Clemmets also spoke about what it means to be a part of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, with such a talented, fun company, to coincide with the release of more tickets!

Lastly, Michael Gambon’s role in The Hollow Crown: The Wars of the Roses along with other stars such as Benedict Cumberbatch and Judi Dench will air next month on Great Performances on PBS, after airing on the BBC this May and receiving great reception. The three-part series continues The Hollow Crown BAFTA award-winning series of 2012. Gambon will be portraying Mortimer:

“The first series of The Hollow Crown covered the so-called Henriad comprising Richard IIHenry IV, Parts I and II and Henry V.  Now, The Wars of the Roses – which comes to Great Performances on three consecutive Sundays beginning December 11 at 9 p.m. – picks up the story with epic film versions of Henry VI (in two parts) and Richard III.”
