The cast of Fantastic Beasts found comfort in working with some of the Harry Potter crew knowing that they had already been involved in the creation of such a successful movie franchise already.

In a recent video, released by Pottermore, we hear thoughts directly from a few of the actors on what it was like to work with the Harry Potter team. The behind the scenes clip is taken from the Fantastic Beasts DVD and Blu-ray.

Although the general storyline and setting were all new territory it certainly helped to have some seasoned hands on board for the Fantastic Beasts film. Dayid Heyman, producer of all eight Harry Potter films, and David Yates, director of the last four films, were just two of the big names on the project. Joining them were Stuart Craig, Oscar-nominated production designer, and editor Mark Day, along with many others.

In regards to working with the successful team, Carmen Ejogo, who played Seraphina Picquery, President of the Magical Congress of the United States of America said:

“It’s very reassuring when you come on to a film where you’re working with a team where they have tried and tested this territory in the past so successfully.”

Ezra Miller, Credence, was also pleased to find how easy-going the crew was:

“When I first met them they were both so calm, so serene, so settled,’ said Ezra Miller. ‘Essentially, my question was – is this for real?”
