CNN journalist Christiane Amanpour tweeted a promotional clip for an exciting new interview with J.K. Rowling which airs Monday!

The thrust of the interview will touch on the magic of the Harry Potter series, as the Philosopher’s Stone recently reached its 20th anniversary, and discuss how Rowling’s ongoing success enables her to pursue another passion–bringing an end to child institutionalization through her charity, Lumos.

Amanpour also teased an “unexpected surprise for [Rowling’s] dedicated fans.” Given the HUGE announcement July 3 that production on the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them sequel has begun, we’d love to hear even the smallest additional detail!

How will Newt, Tina, Queenie, and Jacob get involved in hunting down the infamous fugitive Grindelwald when the mission would seem far more suited to an elite task force of aurors? How in the world do they get involved in a wizarding circus?! What role will Dumbledore play behind-the-scenes given the timeline already established in Deathly Hallows?

Realistically, Rowling is unlikely to answer any of those spoiler-heavy questions. (Oh, but a fan can dream!) But, it’s possible she’ll divulge some other interesting tidbit. Her genius is well-established, so it could be something we haven’t even foreseen or considered!

And while Fantastic Beasts 2 is now on the forefront of our minds, Rowling has so many other projects going, it’s just as likely she’ll reveal a surprise about the upcoming Cormoran Strike novel or television series. She could also give an update about the highly-anticipated Cursed Child Broadway cast! Or, she could make an announcement about Pottermore, her official go-to site for all things wizarding related. Who knows, she may even have a new novel in the works in the vein of The Casual Vacancy, published in 2012.

Since the fandom recently celebrated the aforementioned anniversary, Rowling may give us some new backstory–or draw out an as-yet unnoticed important detail–from the first entry in the series. She is, after all, a master at weaving together a cohesive plot so intricate that clues across thousands of pages both foreshadow future events and also harken back to a history she’s only hinted at.

Whatever is, we’ll have to tune in Monday at 8 p.m. CET/2 p.m. ET to find out! And, while there, learn a little bit more about her inspiring and ambitious charity (because Rowling knows no other way of operating!) which seeks to reach millions of children without families worldwide.
