Universal Studios’ spellbinding spectacular, The Nighttime Lights at Hogwarts Castle, is returning next month to Universal Studios Hollywood for a limited time. Visitors of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter’s California location will be able to experience the nighttime extravaganza every Saturday and Sunday in March, as well as every evening from March 24-31:

The show, which features the four Hogwarts Houses displayed in brilliant Gryffindor red, Syltherin green, Ravenclaw blue and Hufflepuff gold, combines projection mapping technology and fireworks with John William’s iconic Harry Potter film score.

While the California location debuted The Nighttime Lights last June, the Orlando park unveiled it for the opening of A Celebration of Harry Potter last month and Leaky was lucky enough to experience the magic firsthand:

Pretty spectacular, huh? Let us know if you’re headed to the West Coast’s Wizarding World of Harry Potter in March and get to see it for yourself!

The scheduled dates are as follows:

  • Saturday, March 3 – Sunday, March 4
  • Saturday, March 10 – Sunday, March 11
  • Saturday, March 17 – Sunday, March 18
  • Saturday, March 24 – Saturday, March 31
