With Prisoner of Azkaban just released, some of you have been asking, in true insatiable Harry Potter fan style, “What about the next one?” As we reported previously, WB is still aiming for November 18, 2005 as a Goblet of Fire release date. (We reconfirmed that that date is still slated a few days ago.)

Box Office Mojo is reporting that the official total for Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban‘s opening weekend in the U.S. is $93.7 million. BoxOfficeMojo is projecting a big $92 million weekend for Prisoner of Azkaban. However, it estimates that the film took in $38.2 million on Friday, which is lower than the $41.2 million report – in other words, figures are still dodgy, but it’s a safe bet that PoA will outstrip CoS and PS/SS.
