ConventionAlley, the conference that will take place on July 30 to August 1 in Ottawa, Canada, has posted its programming schedule.

Accio, the first Harry Potter-themed conference in the UK, has opened registration for their conference, which will be July 29 through July 31 of 2005, and will take place at the University of Reading. Extensive information, including registration, available at the site.

The BBC reports today that there’s been a resurgence of bookworms amongst youngsters, following the success of the Harry Potter novels, but British libraries don’t have the funding to keep up with the demand.

The Mexican newspaper Mural has an article about Alfonso Cuaron’s plan to premiere the film in Mexico on June 3 in Mexico City. The article, which is written in Spanish, also states that the film will debut in 550 theaters across Mexico, dubbed into Spanish.
