The Official Harry Potter Website has put up a fun new game called “Spider Frenzy” and some more set tours. It also appears as though the WB is using the same kind of game used in the “Find Hedwig” sweepstakes for it’s new movie “Kangaroo Jack.”

From ABC News comes this report that Warner Bros. took top honours in the majors’ overseas box office derby last year, thanks to Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. Warner’s international division amassed $1.6 billion — a company record.

The Columbus Dispatch has an article in today’s paper (Emmi reports) about the impact of the Harry Potter books on central Ohio kids.

According to an article from website Coming Soon, “Warner Bros. [has] denied both rumors that Michael Gambon or Ian McKellen will play the role. The studio had no further comments about the casting.”

Ronny reports that Chamber of Secrets was the top film of 2002 in Germany, attracting over eight million people to the cinema in November and December.

Russian school pupils will continue to be able to read about Harry Potter’s adventures, after an attempt to have the books banned was rejected.
