7 ounces of worsted weight yarn in main color
2 or more ounces of worsted weight yarn in contrasting color
I/9 (5.50 mm) crochet hook
Darning needle
Instructions
Ch 30 in main color (MC).
Row 1: Hdc in second chain from hook and in each chain, turn. (29 hdc)
Row 2: Ch 2 , hdc in each stitch across, turn. (29 hdc)
Rows 3-22: Repeat row 1.
Row 23: Repeat row 1 , but change to contrasting color (CC) in the last hdc.
Rows 24-25: Repeat row 1 in CC, changing to MC in last hdc on row 25.
Rows 26-28: Repeat row 1 with MC, changing to CC in last hdc on row 28.
Rows 29-30: Repeat row 1 with CC, changing to MC in last hdc on row 30.
Keep repeating rows 1-29 until the scarf reaches about 56 inches (142.24 cm)
or the desired length, then finish by repeating rows 1-22.
Finishing
Add fringe to your liking.
