2 cups (473 ml) of Simply Smart fat-free milk
3 Tbsp (45 ml) light brown sugar
1 tsp (5 ml) vanilla extract
1/2 tsp (2.5 ml) butter
10-15 Minutes for Hot and Frothy
1 hour and 15 minutes for chilled
This recipe yields 2 servings.
Heat the milk in a saucepan over medium heat until it begins to boil.
Add brown sugar, vanilla and butter, using a hand-blender to mix it all together.
When the sugar and butter are completely dissolved, the butterbeer is ready.
If you would like it more frothy, use the hand-blender for an additional 1-2 minutes.
To chill, store in the refrigerator for an hour.
Pour into 2 glasses and serve immediately.
