Cinescape is reporting a rumor claiming that the publication of the untitled Book Six is slated to begin no later than September 8, 2004. We repeat - this is just an unsubstantiated rumor - but one we'd all love to see come true. We'll be checking and seeing if we can learn anything verifiable.

The Daily Record reported unflinchingly today, in an article about J.K. Rowling turning down a Dr. Who writing gig, that the title J.K. Rowling's "latest installment" is Harry Potter and the Green Flame Torch.

Financial advisor Smith Barney Citigroup recently downgraded the Scholastic(SCHL) stock from "buy" to "hold" citing concerns about the companies continuites business and worries about the government's "do not call" registry affecting Scholastic business.Continued...

" JK Rowling publicly said 'Harry sustains a minimal but lasting injury in this [the sixth] book.' It is also reported to be roughly just under the length of GoF and will most likely be done by early January. (The first draft.).
