Teaming up with PETA’s youth division (peta2) once again, Evanna Lynch has created a limited-edition Vegan Gift Basket which is launching just in time for Christmas – we’re sure she’d be great friends with Newt Scamander.

The basket features magical items such as vegan chocolate frogs, a ‘Vegans are Magical’ T-Shirt (which Evanna wore in her Hogwarts recipe peta2 video, below) and more cruelty-free treats to spread a message of love for magical and non-magical creatures alike.

Evanna said on the release of her holiday surprise:

“These enchanting offerings are proof of magic—vegan magic. My friends at PETA and I encourage everyone to cast a compassionate spell for animals this holiday season by eating and shopping vegan.”

Available from the PETA Catalog until the end of December, Evanna’s basket would make a great Christmas surprise for vegan fans.

In other Evanna Lynch news, she’s recently launched The Chickpeeps – a vegan podcast with Robbie from the Potter films, Tylor from the Fantastic Beasts Foundation and vegan / ocean activist Momo. She will be returning for a New York City run of Disco Pigsand will also star in another independent film, Indigo Valley!

Evanna’s not the first to dedicate herself to activism – Bonnie Wright recently joined a Greenpeace mission, Lumos have been sharing their magic tirelessly (remember that interview with J.K. Rowling back in July?), Warwick Davis continues to grow support for  the dwarfism community with Little People UK, Emma Watson dedicated herself to raising awareness of women’s rights issues and much more as UN Goodwill Ambassador and much more!
