Gobble gobble gobble and a happy Post Turkey Day! This should be a holiday, because there is just as much celebrating with eating leftovers. Magical folk probably don’t celebrate Thanksgiving because Harry Potter takes place in Britain, but I’m sure they have leftovers hiding in their fridge from some long past holiday. I can almost imagine them popping out of a cupboard in the Weasley’s house and waving hello. Anyway, whenever someone thinks of the ideal storybook Christmas there’s always a whole bunch of people running around in the snow singing ’ and what do they all have in common? Scarves! It seems no holiday season can be without them, especially in the world of Harry Potter. Whenever Hogwarts students are celebrating the winter festivities they always seem to be bundled in their house scarves, and Harry Potter fans as well. I marvel at the amount of patterns for Harry Potter scarves out there, especially in Leaky’s crafts section, and it seems no coincidence that so many people are wrapped up in them at Harry Potter events. Hopefully you’ll make one soon, and happy holidays!

Thanks and happy Turkey Day,

Crafty Wizard Jason
