Hermione Meets Hermione: Emma Watson Talks ‘Cursed Child’ and Meeting Noma Dumezweni

On Wednesday, two Hermiones were in the same place at the same time and not a single Time-Turner was involved.

Emma Watson attended a performance of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child and her reaction has us feeling a little emotional.

Emma shared her thoughts on the play–and her thoughts on meeting her “older self”, Noma Dumezweni–on her Facebook page. Of the experience, she said:

 “Having seen it I felt more connected to Hermione and the stories than I have since Deathly Hallows came out, which was such a gift. Meeting Noma and seeing her on stage was like meeting my older self and have her tell me everything was going to be alright, which as you can imagine was immensely comforting (and emotional)!”

Noma shared the love in a few tweets of her own.

Emma also met Sam Clemmett (Albus Potter), Anthony Boyle (Scorpius Malfoy), producers, and others involved in the making of Cursed Child.
