CTV reports that the Ontario Superior Court dismissed a notion by a Winnipeg folk group, The Wyrd Sisters, to block the release of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire in Canada. The band argued that “a fictional rock band in the film would ruin their careers.” They sought $40 million from WB.

“Harry Potter y el Misterio del Principe” (“Harry Potter and the Mystery of the Prince”), the Spanish translation of “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince,” will be released in Spain and Latin America on February 23, 2006.
