Tom Felton appeared alongside The Flash co-star Grant Gustin at the second Silicon Valley Comic Con, Sunday. Felton, known to fans as Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter films, took on the role of Julian Albert in season three of the superhero television series and is acquiring new fans left and right who are loving what he brings to the Flash Team.

He and Barry Allen (Gustin) started off the season with an unmistakably antagonistic relationship reminiscent of Draco’s ongoing feud with Harry. This went on for episodes–and made all the more sense when Barry revealed that Julian was actually Dr. Alchemy!

After the team managed to free Julian from the evil powers that controlled him, the icy relationship between Barry and Julian thawed considerably. Now, fans can’t imagine the Flash Team without Julian and, given Felton and Gustin’s evident onscreen chemistry–and some playful hints from the comic con panel–we’re hopeful plans are in the works to keep him there.

Gustin arrived at the panel dressed in L.A. Dodgers gear, to the dismay of many in the audience. But to everyone’s delight, Felton jumped right in and called for Gustin to “take it off!” Just take a look at how well they play off each other, hamming it up for the fans.

The celebration of all things Felton and Gustin continued, with some fans clearly shipping a Barry and Julian arc. The San Francisco Chronicle reported that Felton said:

“I genuinely thought it would be a lovely twist if towards the end of the season, Barry and Julian ran off together.”

Though Gustin added that the writers didn’t go for it, he teased the possibility anyway, joking that they could discover an “Earth 5 where, like, we’ve been together for 30 years.” Since each new season has expanded the multiverse and, with it, introduced new characters and dopple-gangers, who knows!

Felton even “proposed” that Gustin “take him back” for Season Four.

While we anxiously await that confirmation, you can see Felton and Gustin on the silver screen soon, as both have films on military heroes in the works. Tom Felton appears in Megan Leavey as veteran dog trainer and marine Andrew Dean on June 9th.

And Gustin will appear in The Last Full Measure with Fantastic Beasts‘ Alison Sudol. Sudol plays the wife of Sebastian Stan’s Scott Huffman, who lobbies Congress to posthumously award the Medal of Honor to Vietnam Air Force medic William Pitsenbarger, played by Gustin.
