J. K. Rowling has updated her website with information on the Sotheby’s auction, and how her annotated copy of “Philosopher’s Stone” raised £150,000 for English PEN and Lumos. Rowling’s annotated copy of “Philosopher’s Stone” was auctioned off for $228,000 at Sotheby’s today: Sotheby’s said the work, offered as part of a charity book sale jointly organized with the English PEN writers’ association, was sold to an anonymous bidder by telephone. Ambitious Slytherin has won the third Pottermore House Cup with 26,990,924 points. Ravenclaw came in second with 26,916,194 points, Gryffindor came in third with 26,740,444 points, and Hufflepuff came in fourth with 26,715,401 points.This is Slytherin’s second time winning the House Cup. Congrats to Slytherin House!

The Pottermore Insider has announced via Twitter that tomorrow the House Points will be concealed on Pottermore, and the new House Cup winner will be announced on Thursday, April 25th.Currently, Slytherin is in the lead with 26,471,263 points, with Ravenclaw following in second place, Gryffindor in third, and Hufflepuff in fourth.Good luck to every House!
