Since the release of the first teaser trailer at the beginning of 2018, we’ve been growing increasingly impatient to see Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald… and Jude Law as Albus Dumbledore.

After many months of waiting, fans finally received an official trailer at San Diego Comic Con (where Leaky was reporting live and Melissa Anelli moderated Scholastic’s 20th anniversary panel), and here’s our reactions from the day of its release:

We’d like to give special thanks to Jed Shaffer,  (who you can find on YouTube & Instagram) for helping us put this together!

From genuine shock and outbursts of ‘WHAT IS THAT?’ to smiles, eyebrow raising and screams of laughter, it’s fair to say we were all pretty hooked by this trailer, and our list of questions about the film just keep growing thanks to the glimpses we received of new beasts and old friends, and new interviews with the cast. We’ve revelled in nostalgia about the Potter series in celebration of J.K. Rowling and Harry Potter’s birthdays (and Leaky’s eighteenth birthday!), we’ve taken part in our fair share of theorizing and analyzing, and now we just want November to come so we can FINALLY see the film.

What are you most eager to see in Crimes of Grindelwald? Did you video your reaction to the trailer? Share your thoughts and reactions with us in the comments, or via our Twitter, Facebook or Instagram. Remember, Cinemark are hosting marathons of the movies on the big screen, and USA Network and Syfy are holding Wizarding Weekend marathons on the small screen, so be sure to rewatch before the release of Crimes – only 100 days to go!
