A beautifully bound copy of The Tales of Beedle the Bard handwritten and illustrated by JK Rowling was auctioned on December 13th by Sotheby’s. A new species of spider discovered in India was named  “Eriovixia gryffindori” after Godric Gryffindor, one of the four founders of Hogwarts, and original owner of the Sorting Hat. On Wednesday, Warner Bros. Studio officially confirmed that a sequel to the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them movie was already in the works.
