An article from The Scotsman tells us that a former Edinburgh cafe where the first Harry Potter book was written is to be turned into an “all-you-can-eat” Chinese restaurant.

In Japan, Amazon.co.jp’s foreign book store has begun accepting pre-orders at 50% discount for the U.S. edition of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, which will be released on 23 June. (Read more at the article from Japan Today.)

ABC News is reporting that the US edition of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix will carry a suggested retail price of $29.99. In Canada, according to The Toronto Star, the price will be $43. (Many online booksellers, however, are offering discounts.)
