My Name is Rachel Corrie, the award-winning play co-written and directed by Alan Rickman (Professor Snape), had its first “commercial” opening in London’s West End yesterday. The controversial play’s opening night was attended by fellow Potter castmates Miriam Margolyes (Professor Sprout) and Miranda Richardson (Rita Skeeter). Photos of the after-party may be seen here.

Last week we told you that Harry Potter author J.K.Rowling had donated a special ceramic egg that she painted as part of a fundraising effort for the Multiple Sclerosis Society Scotland.
