Today, J.K. Rowling attended a luncheon at Buckingham Palace, hosted by the Queen of England.

In a feature about the changing landscape of books and bestsellers, USA Today says that J.K. Rowling ” is the decade’s most successful author, landing five of the top six spots on the list of the 100 best-selling books of the past 10 years.”

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is a nominee for the Book of the Year in the 2003 British Book Awards. Awards will be presented in April. Thanks, Pete!

As rumored, the premiere of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban will be May 23 in New York and May 30 in London, both at to-be-announced-locations, reliable sources have said. Both will take place during daytime hours.
