Convention Alley This Weekend in Canada

Convention Alley begins this weekend in Ontario ,Canada, and Canada.com has a short preview of the Harry Potter convention. Harry Potter Lexicon founder Steve Vander Ark will be the keynote speaker. This conference, which is devoted to adult Harry Potter fans, takes place July 30th to August 1st at the University of Ottawa.

MTV TRL GOF Segment Postponed

MTV will not be airing its piece about GoF and the on-set fan internship this Friday, as originally reported. It has been postponed for some months, probably to be seen in November, according to sources involved.

Time-Warner Inc. posted better than expected quarterly profits of $777 million, due in part to the success of the Prisoner of Azkaban film. More PoA DVD info from DVD Answers, including shots of the cover art and some other screen shots. It also says that “Arriving the same day will be a Harry Potter three-pack release, containing the first three double-disc releases. This will retail for $59.92.” None of this has been confirmed by WB yet.
