Jo Rowling has been nominated for the 2005 Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award, which was created in 2002 by the Swedish government, and is offered in memory of the beloved Pippi Longstocking author. Box Office Mojo has Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban listed at #15 of All Time World Wide Movie box office grosses with $780.9 million. The first Potter film, Sorcerer’s Stone, is ranked at #3 with $976.5 million. Chamber of Secrets is ranked at #7 with $876.7 million dollars. Thanks Las and Tyleete!

“Hagrid not the Half-Blood Prince” Rumor Partially Confirmed

Yesterday Mugglenet posted that two of their readers who attended the Edinburgh Book Festival reported to them that J.K. Rowling revealed in private conversation that Hagrid is not the Half-Blood Prince.
