Australian company Rising Sun Pictures has signed on to create visual effects for the film Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Actor Kenneth Branagh(Gilderoy Lockhart)is reportedly set to direct and possibly star in a film version of Mozart’s opera, The Magic Flute. The musical will begin production next year. Mr. Branagh is currently filming “Warm Springs” a movie for HBO in which he will portray U.S. President Franklin D. Roosevelt.

The Public Choice Award at the World Soundtrack Awards went to John Williams for the Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban soundtrack. The awards were a part of the 31st Flanders International Film Festival in Bijloke, Ghent. Thanks to Wizard News for the link!
