Goblet Crowned King of UK Box Office

JKR’s Complaint Against the Mirror is Upheld

J.K. Rowling’s July 2005 complaint to the Press Complaints Commission against the Daily Mirror has been upheld. The PCC agreed that JKR’s privacy had been breached by an article in The Mirror that featured a photograph of the author’s London home. More information may be found here. The Sofia News Agancy reports that nearly 300,000 copies of the six Harry Potter novels have sold in Bulgaria so far. In addition, HBP goes on sale in Israel tomorrow.
