The LA Times HeroComplex blog has posted a video interview and behind the scenes look at the creation of the music for the “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1” film. Producers David Baron, David Heyman, and Alexandre Desplat, the composer himself, are featured in the video, which can be viewed right here.

As you may recall, the MPAA rated “Deathly Hallows: Part 1” as PG-13 for “sequences of intense action violence and frightening imagery.” They have since amended their reasoning for giving “Deathly Hallows: Part 1” a PG-13 rating by adding “brief sensuality.” “Deathly Hallows: Part 1” will be released November 19th.

IMAX’s website has revealed that “Deathly Hallows: Part 1” will 147 minutes (or 2 hours and 27 minutes) long. This makes it six minutes shorter than the last Harry Potter film that came out, “Half-Blood Prince.” “Deathly Hallows: Part 1” will be released on November 19th.
