Norwegian Lena Skarning received a grant to run a business of potions, fortune-telling and magic. She says the Harry Potter books may have made people more tolerant of sorcery, and refers to herself as “Norway’s only state-backed witch.” Thanks to the many TLC readers who sent us this link!

Rupert Grint and Emma Watson each donated an original painting to be auctioned by Kith & Kids, a group that helps children with disabilities. Although the main event on October 9th raised over £22,000, some paintings are still available – have a look!
